How My Client Grew 17k followers on Instagram in 6 months. Here’s how….

We identified her skillset and passion based on life experiences

First, I sat down with my client and asked 4 questions to help me identify what she is passionate about, her life experiences, and what could potentially be profitable for her. 

You can check out this video to learn more about choosing a profitable topic. Hint, it is SUPER important. . 

We did this by using a tool called keywords everywhere which allows you to see how much people are searching for certain terms and how much competition (meaning how many people are already talking about it) there is. 

Choosing what topic you talk about is a crucial part in launching an online business and can be the differentiator in businesses that succeed and those that fail. 

My goal any time I meet with a client is to find a topic that aligns with their lifestyle, current life situation, and something that will make it easy for them to share on a daily basis.

Plus something that they can talk hours about.

We created a wide and deep content strategy 

My favorite way to do this is by creating content pillars. Content pillars are 3-5 sub topics that support your overall topic. 

I give specific examples in this video titled: Become A Full Time Content Creator In 12 Months Or Less: Your Exact Roadmap

But the basic idea is to find one keyword and 5 keyword phrases that supported that keyword. 

I promise when you take the time to do that, you will come up with unending content ideas PLUS it will make your content more cohesive because it all builds on each other.

After we found those keywords, we worked through the content vortex which is a diverse content strategy that I teach to all of my clients. 

She followed this content strategy perfectly, had multiple reels go viral, and has gain over 17k followers on instagram plus over 7,000 email subscribers.

We built an irresistible lead magnet in Canva

A lead magnet is just a fancy way of referring to a free resource that you offer in exchange for someone’s email address. This is how you build an email list. 

The number one goal that I teach all of my clients is to prioritize building an email list from day one. 

This is a hill that I am willing to die on for two reasons. 

  1. You don’t own your social media platform 
  2. You don’t control it

In one blink your social media channel could disappear overnight and you have no way of controlling who sees your content and when. 

I feel like I don’t need to say anything more.

We launched her digital product to her email list and Instagram following

We created a multi dimensional digital product based off her core keyword. Because this data was crucial in allowing us to see what was a valid need in the market and how we could fill that need. 

A multi dimensional digital product is my method of taking what was once a $6 product on etsy, and turning it into a $29 product that is marketed through your personal brand. 

Here is an example of a multi dimensional digital product.

We launched a full blown sales campaign on both her Instagram account and her email account. 

In her initial launch she sold 66 bundles and now makes sales automatically with her evergreen sales funnel.

We set up the entire selling process on an automated evergreen sales funnel

This is my absolute favorite part in the process because it literally takes all of the things that stink about selling and puts them into an automated system.

I know that sounds super complicated but it’s actually pretty straight forward.

The short story is…..

  • You create very specific content pieces surrounding a specific topic
  • Drive all of that traffic to a lead magnet (free email opt in) 
  • Create a series of sales emails that walks your buyer through the selling process
  • And sell your digital product through your email
