Writing this post feels surreal because this moment has been something that I prayed, manifested, and worked for for a very long time.
It also feels weird because for whatever reason, talking about money feels cringe.
In the world we live in, no matter how we frame the story, someone seems to always get their panties in a bunch when you start talking about money.
….& I get it. It’s a loaded topic.
Update: Since the original post I actually brought in more sales. My total for this month is currently $14,451,00 and as of now there ae three days left in the month so I’m hoping to increase that numbers still.
Here is proof for my fellow skeptics!
We all have had weird experiences with money, been taught many limiting beliefs about it, and seem to always fight the urge to think that anyone who has a lot of it or talks about it openly is a bad person and surely had to do something super icky to get it.
Trust me when I say that I have had all of those feelings surrounding the topic of money.

I also want to say that had I not stumbled on multiple creators that were sharing what they were earning in an authentic way, I for sure never would have started my entrepreneurial journey that has led me to where I am today. Which is why I am sharing this post.
8 years ago I happened to stumble on my ex-boyfriend’s sister’s (I know, crazy, but this is a true story) Facebook account who was in direct sales.
That was the very first time my eyes were open to the possibilities of social media marketing.
Since then, I’ve built two successful direct sales companies, then walked away from both and started a blog from scratch (& when I say “scratch” I mean I built my entire blog myself, wrote codes, designed and did literally everything myself) .
Now I run a social media marketing agency where I work with ambitious women to build out entire business plans from start to finish.
This is truly a job & business that I dreamt up and It has been God led every step of the way.

I Led With My Story
I cannot overstate the importance of starting a business by leading with your story. I believe with all my heart that your personal story in all its imperfections is the biggest asset you have in your business.
It’s what makes you unique, sets you apart from your competition, draws your ideal buyer in, and when done right converts them from a followers to a raving fan.
Story is the was you sell without being salesy or gimmicky.
So the number one thing I recommend to anyone starting an online business is to start with your story and reverse engineer.
I Built A Multidimensional Person Personal Brand Rather Than Hiding Behind A Niche
When you lead with your story, it allows you to build a personal brand rather than hide behind your niche.
One of the first mistakes I made when I started my blog was being insecure about sharing my story hand hiding behind my niche.
It took me three years to understand that I was doing myself and my audience a disservice.
When you fully connect with your story, your passion, and your life experience, it creates the perfect trifecta of a personal brand that can evolve and expand in the online space.
I Leveraged The Audience I Already Had
This was tricky and I literally spent two years over analyzing whether I should launch this idea to my current audience or start a completely new Instagram account.
In hindsight, the answer was simple and painstakingly obvious. As the most important decisions in life typically are.
After getting over myself, launching a new product idea to my current audience, and having great success, I rarely ever recommend starting a new account.
More people are watching and follow you than you can possibly imagine. And even though it may seem like nobody is responding, I promise you they are watching and some will buy for you.
Important note: Focusing on nurturing rather than growing and your conversion rate will sky rocket.
I Built An Ecosystem Of Revenue
My philosophy on revenue is not to keep all your eggs in one basket. It’s not affiliate marketing, it’s not digital products, it’s not an online course, and it’s not 1:1 coaching.
It’s all of the above.
When you create a business structure with offers of all different types, cost, and levels of expertise, you create an eco system of revenue that eventually pays you while you sleep and allows you to only work with high end clients that you truly want to work with.
I Created An Offer Suite
An offer suite is the number one way I have been able to sign over 75% of 1:1 clients.
The whole idea of an offer suite is to identify your potential buyers, assign them to buckets based on where they are at in their journey and design an offer that is attractive and makes sense for their specific journey.
This does two things….
- It allows you to serve them exactly where they are at on their journey.
- It allows you to send your “not ready to run” clients to an automated offer (like an online course) & sign your ready to run clients in a 1:1 way to work with them closely & get true transformation.
This has been pivotal in being able to sign more clients, help more people, and make more money without putting in more time.
I Diversify My Products, Offer, And Platform
Since content is just as valuable as money when it comes to the online space, I’m a firm believer in diversifying it. I believe that every creator should start with one short form content platform, then move to one long form content platform.
Once both have been mastered, you should explore other short forms.
Mine, for example look like this…
- Short form: Instagram, Pinterest, & Facebook
- Long form: My personal blog
This allows you to connect with the following in multiple different ways and sever them on different levels.
Typically your buyers will come from your long from content because they are your raving fans.
That is why it’s super important not to underestimate the power of small numbers.
Even if you only have a handful of eye on your blog, youtube, or podcast, if done right, they will convert to you high ticket buyers.
I Let My Testimonials Do The Selling For Me
This is another element that in my opinion is extremely underestimated. When you work with and serve your clients on a deep level, they will have a transformation.
And a transformation so valuable that they will shout from the rooftops and tell all of their friends about your product or services.
I promise if you show up for them, they will love you and tell the world about you!
This step honestly held e back for really long time because I was afraid that if people didn’t get results they would be mad at me.
But all I was doing was downplaying my brilliance.
We all have unique talens and a light inside of us that we were meant to give others. When we tap into that and boldly share it with the world, magic starts to happen.
Note to self: Don’t underestimate your brilliance. You are capable of helping people.
