2023 has launched us into a fast paced ever changing world of content creation. Gone are the days of posting perfectly curated stock photos and seeing the affiliate income rolling into your bank account.
With evolving algorithms , new platforms on the rise and more content creators joining the scene every single day, in order to stay relevant, content creators need to shift what they are doing and take a multi dimensional approach to creating income.
One buz word that has been talked about in the content creation space is “passive income”.
…& all though there is plenty of passive income to be had on the internet, I think this term has been overused, and not given the context and definition that it deserves.
In this blog post, I’m going to take a deep dive into the world of passive income, dispel common misconceptions, and provide you with a comprehensive roadmap to help you start generating passive income this year.
Today I want to share with you…..

But first, a quick story about why I became obsessed with passive income.
I had dabbled in digital marketing for a few years promoting various affiliates and using social media as a lifestyle blog. That was long before the days of niching down and producing consistent content.
After promoting several affiliates, I quickly learned that the majority of affiliate companies don’t pay you nearly enough money considering the work you put in.
Hear me out, I’m not against affiliate marketing. I think it can be a great accent piece to your business.
I am pro getting the biggest cut from your loyal followers. Most affiliates keep 80% while you take home a measly 20% if you are lucky.
That just wasn’t enough for me.
So I went to work studying all the various forms of passive income to be had by content creators. And what I found was truly astonishing.
Let me put your mind at ease by telling you that there is plenty of money to be had on the internet, there is no such thing as saturation, and the internet is still in the early stages of developing.
After going to the passive income rabbit hole, I launched my first digital products shortly after that and made 1 single sale.
However, after obsessing over coming up with a better way, and spending hours upon hours perfecting it, I developed a system that made over 33k selling digital guides on autopilot.
Bearing in mind that at the time I was working a maximum of 10 hours per week and had three small kids at home.
Now more than ever is the best time to start building a personal brand online.
